Attorney M. Erin Wilkins founded The Law Office of M. Erin Wilkins, LLC in January, 2005, in historic Newport, Kentucky. Erin is licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Kentucky and concentrates her practice on criminal defense and domestic relations. Erin has also represented clients in personal injury, debt collection, and other civil cases. Erin received a Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University where she majored in Print Journalism and Government. She is a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Erin went on to receive her law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University where she was a member of the Moot Court team and provided pro bono services through a tax clinic run by the law school. After law school, Erin knew that part of her obligation as an attorney was to provide legal services for people who could not afford an attorney. She takes cases on a regular basis from Legal Aid for the Bluegrass and has participated in training to be a Guardian ad Litem to represent children in court cases as well as training for Wills for Heroes, a program designed to provide free wills and estate planning for fire fighters, police officers and their families. Erin and her husband, Jon Caron, currently live in Cincinnati. |
