Kathleen S. Shields

Attorney Kathleen Shields joined The Law Office of M. Erin Wilkins in November, 2018.  Prior to joining the firm, Kathleen gained extensive experience in family law matters as a staff attorney for a Kentucky family court judge.

Kathleen received her Bachelor of Arts from Transylvania University, where she majored in English Literature.  While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Kathleen developed a passion for the nuance of language, a skill she uses to advocate for her clients. 

Kathleen received her law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.  While attending law school, she was a member of the Moot Court team, for which she was admitted into the Order of Barristers.  She also participated extensively in a pro bono divorce clinic offered through Legal Aid of Greater Cincinnati. 

Kathleen continues to be passionate about family law matters and their impact on her clients’ lives.  She is admitted to practice law in both Ohio and Kentucky and concentrates her practice in domestic relations.
